IPTV
IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) eliminates buffering associated with traditional video web streaming and enables live interactive TV across multiple locations.
IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) is a very exciting development recognised by The Challenge Factor for its enormous potential for real time multi-way communications across multiple locations with none of the buffering delays associated with traditional web streaming. If that all sounds like gobbledegook try this.
We have built a special broadcasting studio at our Manchester base that enables live broadcasting over the Internet to any pubs who wish to take part - at absolutely no charge to the pubs themselves. We have created a Krypton Factor style quiz, with logic puzzles, video games and a picture quiz, which is broadcast to all the pubs at the same time. Hosted by Gordon Burns, the original quizmaster on The Krypton Factor, the quiz includes interactive text messaging from the teams who are participating thus bringing participation in live TV to a pub near you.
There are some great prizes and the nature of the quiz means that every team is in with a chance to win some big prizes right up to last orders.
Some of the pubs that took part in the trial included The Midway in Stockport, The Marple Tavern and Melandra Castle in Gamesley near Glossop. This trial is now over but if you would like to register your interest in a future roll out please either send an email or indicate your interest in IPTV on our contact form and we'll keep you posted.
Alternatively, IPTV has many other uses including streaming a conference direct to company locations around the world, online interactive training sessions as well as live broadcasting of key company messages. If that sounds of interest to you please contact us.
