Audience Response Systems - Why do you need them?
Imagine the scenario. You have invited your managers and workers from across the world to a key company conference. Your MD delivers his keynote speech which is followed by a discussion. You ask for questions from the audience and there is silence. However, you have anticipated this and have a few planted questions, which your MD is aware of, but this creates a slightly contrived atmosphere. - Question sessions. Using a full sized keyboard to make data entry easy a delegate simply types their question. In real time, this is shown on a monitor visible to the speaker or their interviewer, although the identity of the questioner remains anonymous. The interviewer can easily group questions and lead the discussions with the speaker. For complete openness the questions can even appear on the big screen which may spark off thoughts with other delegates. Your delegates really do become part of the conference.
- Voting . Our Messenger audience response system allows table groups to vote on a particular issue which is great for ensuring a speakers message has been understood. With no preparation, if there is a feeling that something is not clear a snap vote can be called.
