Carbon neutral conferencing delivers greener corporate communication

Posted Thursday, 25 June 2009, 11.18am

As the impetus to meet your Corporate Social Responsibility objectives grows, we are proud to launch an innovative 'green' solution for corporate conferences, events and exhibitions which meets CSR requirements.

Working with our partner, Sponsor Trees, we calculate the carbon impact of your event and ensure that the effects of delegate travel and energy consumption are fully offset.

We plant a wide range of indigenous trees and fruit trees in Africa and other tropical locations. Each of them absorbs approximately 25kg of carbon emissions each year, removing 1 ton from the atmosphere over a 40 year lifetime.

Not only do the trees combat the environmental damage, they also offer numerous benefits to the local communities by providing a source of food, shelter and medication.

We know that getting your key staff together is critical to your business success, so we've kept the process simple, effective - and responsible. All you have to do is let us know how many delegates, where they are travelling from, and their means of transport. We will take care of the rest.
