Communication during change … important or irrelevant?

By Geoff Kershaw, 20 April 2016 – 0 comment

For the last thirty years we’ve been working with enlightened organisations who realise the vital importance of clear and unambiguous communication during change and business transformation programmes. Those same companies also understand that there is one constant in business … change … so understand that they must constantly communicate with their teams.

Why is it then that some businesses feel little or no need for effective communications with their colleagues? Why do too many still operate on the ‘mushroom principle’?

True, it’s not always easy to be open and honest with one’s team. Sometimes it’s very difficult to explain why things have to change within an organisation and why individual’s roles may well have to change too. But for change to be successful those difficulties must be faced … as they are being by our clients.

If you’re having problems communicating effectively with your senior management teams and company colleagues then please give us a call … we can help.
